Events Group

A sub-group of the Needs Group has been formed to plan and organise various events this summer, partly in response to suggestions arising from the Needs Survey, and partly to raise awareness of the ongoing Heytesbury Open Place project within the community.

It is hoped to start Summer Produce sales outside,in the churchyard, in mid June. Covid 19 Guidelines will be strictly adhered to and there will be no refreshments nor raffle at the moment. The Annual Easter Duck Race 2020 was, sadly, cancelled but in 2019 it was a huge success with over £1500 being raised in aid of Heytesbury Church.
The biannual Wylye Valley Art Trail was held in Heytesbury Church in May 2019. There were 7 exhibitors in Heytesbury Church (Venue 83) from 10.30am - 5.00pm daily.

The summer events in 2018 were successful with the Military Wives Choir raising £1500 for The Friends of H,K & T Churches.

Thank you to everyone that helped to make the events so successful. Many more people were encouraged to visit the church. Now further events for this year are being planned.

The second hand Book Stall is still providing fresh reading material for everyone. Any books that you wish to donate can be put in the Church, thank you.
